Where to from here? The Desert

There is no hope in the horizon. Engulfed in despair it’s easy to give in. However with the right attitude you CAN change ANY situation to your favour. It is the 3rd month of the year; very soon it will come to a close and with it perhaps you will be the shutting down your goals. You think, “What’s the point?” You have done all you could to materialize your dream; you have exhausted all avenues within your reach. You feel you are at a dead end. But what’s the point of giving up. What is the point of not doing anything? You do have a choice and the right decision is to keep at it. It does not matter if the sky may be grey for you. You might not have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth or with opportunities at your disposal. At your bleakest moment just remember, that the majority of millionaires and billionaires in the world are self made. Just like you and me they were once in your shoes. They struggled to pay their bills, some lost their homes and most were made redundant ...

9/1/18 The above is the date when I wrote the first 3 and a half paragraphs. As you might have read already. I am trying to play catch up or clean up which ever way you may prefer to look at it. So months ago I wrote the following: Let there be light. The words spoken by God when we created heaven and earth. It's Monday been stuck indoors with a strong willed, independent, yet dependent 17 month old.This Monday, felt like a gloomy Monday, the kind of strangely grey foggy day. The kind of grey that you, "can't shake off that sleepy feeling off" kind of Monday. Back in 2017, around the beginning of it actually, I had this kind of Monday on repeat for almost a week. So it felt a bit like dejavu. This is how a grey day looks like. One wakes up and gets swallowed up by chores, things to do, look after baby or babies, try to get a shower and use the toilet (yes, take a dump in peace and quite), make and eat food before the baby wakes up. We're right at the beginning of the new year. You should be looking forward to it but you're not. You should be making some major changes that are so lacking in your character, but you're not. You should be taking the all important steps to bring stability and wipe away those debts but you don't. I hear you, it is not because you don't want to change things but you go on to explain that it's because you still don't have the tools to make the wrong in your life right.
